Darren Harriott, a Birmingham born comedian who was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2017 Edinburgh Comedy Awards, has been described by The Evening Standard as ‘passionate, articulate, witty’, and labelled by The Times as ‘properly funny’.

Since then, the stand-up performer has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central and Don’t Hate The Playaz, and is set to debut his first radio stand-up series, Black Label, on BBC Radio 4 later this year. Currently, Harriott is taking his Visceral comedy tour across the country, hitting the Soho Theatre from April 30, where he tackles childhood memories, his time spent in a gang during his school days, and how life has changed since he embarked on his comedy career.
